The Introduction:

This building we call Our House has done so much good over the years, and we want to see it be a resource for generations to come.

We are asking our church to come together with us and raise money for a few key items:

  1. The Roof and Parking Lot - general upkeep is needed on both. Our roof is just over 20 years old, and there are a few areas that need attention soon. The parking lot is the same, with a few areas worn down by constant traffic over the years.

  2. A New Playground - while not technically a “need”, we want to install a good, solid playground for the families of both our church families and the neighborhood to enjoy for the next 20 years. With the previous playground on our property, we saw so many opportunities for evangelism and meeting Persons of Peace.

  3. Giving 10% Away - whatever we raise, we will be giving away 10%, keeping in line with a core value of ours: sacrificial, percentage-based giving.

Thank you for your support and prayers as we build up Our House for generations to come!

Our House
be around for generations to come

total: $300,000

matching gift: $100,000*

goal: $200,000

What is a Matching Gift?*

A Matching Gift is when a person or persons agrees to match every financial gift given, usually up to a certain amount. For instance, if I give $100 to the project, the person gives an additional $100 matching, and in effect, doubling my gift. The individual providing the money for the matching gift is usually someone with the gift of giving who wants to stir others to experience the joy and blessing of giving for themselves. This is how all spiritual gifts work. Not only is the teacher motivated to study and teach, but they also want to help others discover how to study and learn for themselves. It’s the same with the person who has the gift of giving.

Ways to Give

We will have a one-day offering on Sunday, March 24th at both the 9:30 and 11:30 services. You can give cash and checks at that time. We’ll also have the project up on our online giving site the week before and four weeks after the offering on the 24th.

In addition to cash and checks, you can give stock, bonds, property, jewelry, or any other item of value. If you want to give a gift of stock call the office for the stock transfer information. Pray about what to give. If married, pray with your spouse. Get your children involved as well. What a great time to teach them about giving!

When considering giving towards this campaign, we want you to understand that it is intended as an above-and-beyond gift to bless Our House for generations to come.

Gifts like this are so important for two reasons: one, they ensure that the church can continue unhindered with monthly costs, and two because it requires additional prayer and faith on our part. It is easy to give when we know we have enough; it is an act of faith to give what we are not sure we have. Please consider these points prayerfully when you are considering what above-and-beyond looks like to you.
